  • Dạng advantages & disadvantages có thể bố cục bài như sau:
      • Body 1: On the one hand, viết về advantages
        • Main idea 1: Extended families provide a built-in support system, with family members available to help with child-rearing, household chores, and emotional support in times of need.
          • Supporting idea: Therefore, living in an extended family can promote greater family cohesion and a sense of belonging, as family members are able to share experiences and life events together. >> IELTS TUTOR lưu ý Cách dùng động từ "promote"
          • Example: For example, grandparents can provide childcare for working parents, aunts and uncles can help with homework and extracurricular activities, and cousins can offer companionship and friendship.
        • Main idea 2: In an extended family, resources such as living space, food, and finances can be shared among family members, leading to greater economic stability.
          • Supporting idea:
          • Example: The Smiths, a multigenerational family in a suburban neighborhood, showcase economic stability through resource sharing as grandparents, parents, and grandchildren coexist in a spacious home, minimizing individual living expenses and fostering close family bonds while efficiently using living space.
      • Body 2: On the other hand, viết về disadvantages
        • Main idea 1: Living in an extended family may result in a lack of privacy and personal space as multiple generations are living under the same roof. >> IELTS TUTOR lưu ý Cách dùng danh từ "generation" tiếng anh
          • Supporting idea:
            • In an extended family setting, the presence of multiple generations sharing the same living space can result in limited personal space for each individual.
            • With more people occupying the household, the allocation of private areas may become challenging, leading to a lack of personal space for relaxation or solitude.
        • Main idea 2: Living in close proximity to family members can lead to conflicts and tensions, particularly if family members have different values or expectations.
          • Supporting idea:
            • Close proximity exposes family members to each other's daily routines, behaviors, and values.
            • If individuals within the family hold different core values or have contrasting belief systems, the continuous interaction can lead to conflicts and tensions as these differences become apparent in various aspects of life.
          • Example: In a suburban neighborhood, my uncle's family, comprising grandparents, parents, and young adults, chose to live together for unity and support, yet the close proximity revealed noticeable differences in their values and belief systems.
